What blend is commonly used for premium modal underwear?
A common starting direction is 92–95% modal with 5–8% spandex at about 180–200 gsm. The final blend and weight should be confirmed against the fit, opacity, recovery, target price and market.
How is modal different from bamboo viscose for men’s underwear?
Modal is often selected for a smooth, fluid premium hand feel. Bamboo viscose can also feel soft, but the exact performance, supplier documentation and product claim depend on the chosen fabric. We compare the actual specification rather than relying on the fibre name alone.
Is bamboo underwear automatically sustainable?
No. A fibre name alone does not verify a complete sustainability claim. Supplier documentation, processing route and the exact selected material must be reviewed before making claims.
What is the typical MOQ?
The usual starting point is 1,000 pieces per style, often divided across two or three colors when the selected fabric, waistband and packaging allow it. The exact color and size split is confirmed after reviewing the specification.
Can you make a custom waistband and packaging?
Yes. Jacquard or printed waistbands, labels, logo placement and packaging can be developed. Each item may affect MOQ, cost and lead time.
How long do sampling and bulk production take?
Samples are typically 7–10 days, while a custom waistband can require 15–25 days. Bulk production is normally about 60 days after approvals and may require 60–75 days in peak season or for custom-material projects.
